This infographic depicts mental health trends in the U.S. for 2019. One out of every five adults and one out of every five youth ages 13 to 18 are living with mental illness. Anxiety disorders and major depression are among the most common conditions affecting adults. Most youth in state and local juvenile justice systems have a mental illness, and 37% of students age 14 and older with a mental health condition drop out of school.
