Advancing Health Information Technology

December 1st 2004

NIHCM Foundation released an issue brief, Advancing Health Information Technology, in December 2004. The brief was prepared as a result of a dialogue convened through a partnership between the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ) and NIHCM Foundation. Participants in this dialogue, the first of a series of structured dialogues on health information technology (HIT), included high level federal officials and private sector executives. The results of an anonymous survey completed by participants rating policy options and action steps on HIT are also available.
