Submissions are currently being accepted for the Eighteenth Annual NIHCM Foundation Health Care Research and Journalism Awards. This long-standing awards program honors the researchers and journalists who serve as catalysts for positive change by advancing and informing health care policy.
The Research Award recognizes outstanding published work from researchers furthering innovation in health care financing, delivery and organization or the implementation of health care policy.
The Print Journalism Award recognizes excellence in health care reporting and writing on the financing and delivery of health care and the impact of health care policy. The award is presented in two categories: general circulation and trade publications.
The Television and Radio Journalism Award recognizes excellence in television and radio reporting on health care issues and policy.
Each award carries a $10,000 prize to be presented to the winners at a congratulatory dinner in May. Independent judges panels will select the winning entries.
Entries must originally have been published or aired during 2011. Additional eligibility information and entry instructions are available on the awards pages of our website. Submissions should be made through the online entry system by February 15, 2012.
