Ian Duncan, FSA, FIA, FCIA, MAAA published a new book entitled Healthcare Risk Adjustment & Predictive Modeling. This book explains the technical aspects of risk adjustment and predictive modeling and provides examples of how risk adjustment is used in Medicaid, Medicare, Massachusetts health care reform and in other countries.
Duncan was a participant in NIHCM Foundation's February 2011 meeting "Making Risk Adjustment Work in Health Care Reform: Identifying the Challenges and Potential Paths Forward."
