NIHCM Foundation is a proud co-sponsor of the Alliance for Health Reform's April 18th briefing, Health Care Costs: The Role of Prices and Volume, which is now available as a webcast. Speakers provided an overview of the spending problem and considered the impact of prices and volume as determinants of spending growth.
This event is the first in a three-part series on health care spending organized to mark the 20th anniversary of the Alliance for Health Reform. A meeting on May 29th will examine other drivers of health care spending, including technology and the rise of chronic diseases, and the final discussion on June 12th will look at public and private sector solutions. Webcasts of these two briefings will also be available shortly after the event dates.
