Congratuations to the 2007 winners:

General Circulation - Jane Hansen, The Atlanta Journal-Constitution,“Through Hell and High Water” May 2006

Judges' Comments: Jane Hansen's "Through Hell and High Water" is a triumph of old-fashioned, on-the-ground journalism that served its readers well. In her compelling, easy-to-digest narrative, Hansen presents fresh material, rich characters and large lessons for disaster response and healthcare preparedness in the future.
